PSD is “Platform Screen Door” which protects people on platform from accidents by being installed between subway and platform. It is made up of doors, individual controllers and local integrated control system for each station.

Cnix had designed the “PSD Integrated Control and Monitoring System” which is called “PSD ICMS” for all stations for the first time in Korea and supplied Seoul Metro in the year of 2008. Design quality, stability, performance and robustness of “PSD Integrated Control and Monitoring system” of Cnix were confirmed through non-stop operation for over 16 years, and it has been industrial standard in this area.

Cnix built PSD ICMS from 148 stations of line 5,6,7 and 8 in 2008, and the number of total stations which are controlled and monitored by PSD ICMS reaches around 200 by now. PSD Main Servers in Central Control Room is acquiring current data of devices for PSD system in local stations with fast speed and serves them to monitoring system for each line in real time and controls individual door if required. This makes people enable to response to any safety related accidents as fast as possible.

PSD ICMS of Cnix automized the tasks for administration such as data backup and making reports and enable to attach new stations, delete and edit existed stations without stopping main system, so removes any possibility by which PSD ICMS fails to protect people from accidents.
