Cnix has started supplying DAQ systems based on the Data Service Platform to POSCO. The evaluation of Cnix's DAQ system, conducted by POSCO for one month last year, showed that its data collection performance from PLCs is three times faster than that of the leading DAQ systems worldwide.
The ability to gather data from PLCs or other controllers is a key function of DAQ systems because it determines the resolution for inspecting manufacturing processes. The faster the data acquisition, the more detailed the inspection. Cnix’s DAQ system has now been validated and will support the construction of a smart factory at POSCO.
Cnix states that it will not limit the use of data acquired by its DAQ system because the data from the field belongs to you.
