In October 2024, Cnix’s Video Distribution System (VDS), based on user scenarios, was successfully installed in Yangyang County, Gangwon Province, a location popular with surfing tourists, for urban crime prevention and fire monitoring.
Cnix’s VDS integrates approximately 200 CCTV cameras scattered throughout Yangyang County, detecting events defined by artificial intelligence and sending alerts for detected events to designated control terminals based on user scenarios.
The VDS user scenario function is a user program that takes various input options such as time, season, location, and event type. It supports the automation of control operations, reducing the workload for operators and improving operational efficiency. Additionally, it enables swift responses in emergency situations like fires, person down, or intrusion, contributing to a safer Yangyang County.
