Yolo (You Only Look Once) is the open source that is vision system based on Artificial Intelligence. The Data Service Platform of Cnix is providing the solution which can help to protect people from unexpected safety accidents by supplying interface to Yolo that has distinguished performance to detect objects.
There are many big machines such like moving cars, fork lifts, conveyors and etc which were automized by control devices of PLC, DCS and standalone devices in industrial area. These machines not only help workers but also has been causes by which people could be killed while they are working. Because they are too big and too wide where they are working to detect unexpected people and protect them from accidents.
In this working environments, collaboration of Data Service Platform and A.I based Vision system such as Yolo can supply the good option. Vision system integrates the video stream from each camera that was installed at each machine and sends the signal to the Data Service Platform when it finds out people who are hanging around near machines at wrong place and wrong time. Then the Data Service Platform which integrates all devices in working field calculates the emergency cases by the software which is running on Data Service Platform, and transmits the emergency stop signal to the device that was installed at the machine around which unexpected people were found. This is the way for the Data Service Platform of Cnix and A.I based Vision System to protect workers from unexpected accidents.
Cameras that will be installed at machines don’t have to be expensive. Web camera which can be installed at a personal computer is enough. Even Data Service Platform and Yolo can be installed at moving machines such like moving cars and fork lifts.
